How Montaro works
A simple three-step process, from description to a finished job.
For customers
- 1
Click “Get an estimate” and describe what you need. The estimate assistant asks only what's missing (which furniture, floor, wall, when) and accepts photos.
- 2
You get a structured estimate: cost range, duration, what's included and what isn't. It comes from the public reference price table – it is not a binding price.
- 3
Set your own budget and post the job. A 30-second sign-up is required (email or Google).
- 4
Pros in your area send bids with amount, availability and whether they include a receipt or warranty. You see profiles and reviews.
- 5
Pick one bid. A chat opens and you exchange phone and address. The others are notified.
- 6
After the job, mark it as completed and review each other. You pay the pro directly.
For pros
- 1
Sign up as a pro and complete your profile: specialties, areas, experience, tools, whether you issue receipts.
- 2
The admin reviews and approves the profile. Then you see jobs within your radius, as a list and on a map.
- 3
Send a bid. If picked, the chat opens and you see the customer's contact details.
Privacy by design
Before a pro is picked, a job shows only the area (the map pin is shifted by about 300 metres) and never a phone, email or exact address.
Payment
There is no online payment for now. The customer pays the pro directly, as agreed in chat.
